My stay at Ratu Kini was a mixed bag. The location is stunning, right by the beach, and the atmosphere is incredibly welcoming and friendly. The accommodations are basic, which is to be expected, but I encountered persistent issues with cleanliness, specifically with bed bugs that made my experience quite unpleasant. The resort has a great laid-back vibe, but the management could use improvements in addressing guest issues more effectively.

I had a unique experience at the hostel with a truly Fijian vibe, right on the beach. The views were beautiful, and the beach itself was stunning. However, the accommodations were quite basic, and I found the food options to be limited, especially since parts of the island were inaccessible during my stay. While I enjoyed the cultural activities, the prices for certain amenities, like diving, felt steep.
Rooms
6.0
The 10-bed dorm room was very basic but clean enough. I opted to stay with friends in a triple room, which was much more comfortable and had a small fridge.
Service
7.0
The staff were friendly and organized daily activities, which helped to connect with fellow travelers. However, access limitations to other resorts impacted the overall experience.
Location
6.0
The hostel is right on the beach, offering incredible views. However, much of Mana Island was closed off due to filming, which limited access to other areas.
Dining
5.0
While there was a basic breakfast included, dining options were quite limited. I would recommend bringing your own food if possible.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities were basic but functional. There was a small shop on site with limited supplies, and while there were activities available, some amenities, like diving, were on the expensive side.

5.0/10
I had a truly terrible experience at this hostel. The initial room I was given had bed bugs, which led to an uncomfortable night and a completely unsatisfactory resolution from the staff. While the location is decent, I can't recommend staying here due to the hygiene issues. It's unfortunate because the staff seemed eager to help, but the management was dismissive and unprofessional.
Rooms
5.0
The initial room was not only poorly maintained but also infested with bed bugs, which was completely unacceptable.
Service
5.0
The staff were friendly but the management's response was unhelpful and dismissive regarding the bed bug issue.
Location

The location is decent, but the beach access means nothing if the accommodations are not clean.
Dining
Facilities

There were no notable facilities, as my main concern was the bed bug infestation.
